Not a good week for me. I ate richer food than I should of (but it was worth it) and did not go out and exercise like I should of. My weight gain is a result of bad decisions that I made. As a result I am trying hard not to beat myself up too much over it. Instead I’m doing something much more productive, moving more this week. Yesterday I was able to get my run in and today I went for a swim. The swim wasn’t for as long as I’d like but that was due to me worrying about baby. Tomorrow the plan is to go for another run and hopefully on the weekend I can sneak in a bike ride. We'll see how it goes and I'll have something better to report.
Just as a note, for the future:
ReplyDeleteDon't base your success/failures on a weigh-in. Putting on muscle and toning up may make it seem like you are not gaining any ground. Your scale may refuse to go down, or it may even go up a bit! A better indicator may be to measure inches.

I am aware of the fact that as I start to gain muscle my scale will likely go back up, but thanks for the heads up. I haven't started measuring myself yet because last time I did that I became obsessed with it.
